The K Mills

I write it. You read it. That's it.

Testing Vimeo.

I like the idea of using Vimeo over YouTube to post videos on TheKMills.com. It just seems a bit… cleaner. Ida know… but I’ll have to explore a little bit more, weigh the benefits of one vs. the other.

For now I’m posting an old video to test it. It’s pretty funny, to boot. :)

Crunch.

The Mills D.c. Home.

I’m testing the BuddyPress plug-in on WordPress again, to figure out the easiest way for me to upload video this blog thingy. :)

So I’m pasting the following video I made of our Washington condo. Since it’s easy…

Plus a short one of the squirrel we feed in our backyard… porch… thingy…

Kevin 3.0 (the Overhaul, Part 2)

You’ll find the continuation of yesterday’s YouTube post here. (And I say continuation – rather than conclusion – because the camera ran out of storage in the midst of this one. Yes, technology is revolting against me, and my bloated, sleep-deprived posts…)

As for #2 (watch the post), I think I was going to say I want to be accountable, and appeal to the wisdom of the masses when it comes to overcoming my fears. I’m sure I’ll need encouragement from time to time, so now when you see a post all about “What Freaks Kevin Out,” you’ll know why (and what to do… aside from sit and stare…). :)

Kevin 3.0 (the Overhaul)

My new YouTube video can be seen here.

In it my floating head discusses how God’s been working in my life over the past month, and share some of the vision that He’s placed in my heart for the future. Yes, I know it cuts off in the end… I’ll post the continuation tomorrow… lest you guys get overwhelmed with Too Much Kevin. (Is such a thing possible, you ask? Oh yes… it is… just ask Kim…)

The Iron Maiden.

This is what they affectionately call the new hand therapy tool I received at rehab yesterday. It’s somethin’ else. :) Until I figure out how to post YouTube videos without screwin’ up my whole WordPress formatting, you’ll have to catch it here. :)

Lifechurch.tv – Habbakuk Series.

Once again, God has used Craig Groeschel’s teachings to turn what many people would consider an obscure story into one that’s full of relevancy and immediate impact. I have a close friend who is currently plagued with constant headaches and body aches. He’s an incredible Man of God whom I respect dearly, and I can’t fathom why God hasn’t healed him yet. This sermon series has helped to underscore how to wrestle with God respectfully. How we can disagree with what God is (or in some cases, ISN’T) doing, and yet still trust in Him completely.

Habbakuk is a powerful, three-part series. It will change your perspective on life, especially when you begin to question God’s goodness. (On a side note, when I was going through a hard time a few years ago, God made a number of promises to me using scripture from the book of Habbakuk. So this series has a special significance to me of God’s faithfulness in dire circumstances.)

Song Of The Sirens. (or “music Addiction 101″)

It is what it is. :| It’s also 32 min. long (and 83mb large), so be sure and settle in if you’re gonna give it a go. Or download it directly here. All insight, advice, profound thoughts, etc. are welcomed and encouraged.

(You can also download this as an MP3 here. You know, just in case you don’t wanna look at my purty, purty face. :) I’ll be glad to encode & post in other formats, if necessary.)
