Tunes In My Head: Diplo – Big Lost

I don’t know how or when I first ran across this song, but I’m really, really glad I did. It encapsulates so much of what I long for in a classic downtempo song: pronounced orchestration, phat beats to bob to, and no profane hip-hop lyrics to screw it all up.

I listened to the other samples at iTunes Music Store, but they just didn’t come close to the beauty that is “Big Lost.”

Conclusion? Diplo’s crafted a great song to stick in my “white boy funky stuff” playlist, and I can’t wait to see what they come up with in the future.

    I’m FAIRLY sure they do know the difference between dead and alive, given that having grown up in this insect-infested Indonesia, I have never yet heard of a human being eaten alive by ants in their sleep ;)

    but hey, if ant hunting makes you happy….

    (Some would say pick on someone your own size, but i would rather you killed ants than creatures your own size myself).
