The Apple Crest Inn Bed & Breakfast.

\Apple Crest Inn.

Last month Kim and I celebrated our 12th anniversary. It’s hard to believe it was well over a decade ago that a long-haired stud and a skinny-minny girl exchanged vows of pleasure and allegiance to one another in Dallas, Texas. My, how time flies… (when you’re having pledged pleasure….).

To celebrate, Kim lines up an overnight stay at the Apple Crest Inn Bed and Breakfast, in Gentry, Arkansas. She picked this place because it was just outside of Siloam Springs, where we first met while attending college at John Brown University. We had a blast, wandering around the campus and seeing the new buildings, remembering how I used to stalk her with my binoculars as she walked to dinner at night, our late-night walks and talks that sometimes lasted until dawn… Good times, good times…

So if you’re ever in the Siloam Springs area and need a classy place to stay, check out the Apple Crest Inn. Great place to crash for a night. Or a weekend….

In addition to original statuary and a fireplace, the room has a king bed, sofa, easy chairs and table, desk, antique organ, inlaid trunk and side tables, and stained glass windows in the bath. The double whirlpool and walk-in shower are done in blacks and golds, and the sink is set in an antique stand.
