Book Fairs And Balls Of Prayer
As I pull into the underground parking garage (where I’m freezing said Balls off right now…), I come to a stop – I can either turn left or right. I feel a pull (a nudge, a hunch) to turn to the left, so I do… And end up in a dead-end. It’s as close as I can get to the book fair area, but a dead-end nonetheless.
As I pull forward and begin to turn around, however, I suddenly realize that the car at the end actually ISN’T the last car in the row, but it was simply hiding THE LAST PARKING SPACE behind it.
Ta-daaaa……
Bam. The Favor of God, manifest yet again in my life. I gotta tell ya, living out an expectant faith in a living God makes for good living indeed. If you haven’t tried it yet, Jump In. You won’t regret it.

Kevin,
“Balls of prayer!” Man, you’re are certifiably nuts… and I love it. Israel may have mentioned my name to you. I am a huge fan of yours…O.K…. so a recent huge fan. I’ve been a pastor for the last few hundred years or so and I love it when religion meets real life and reproduces a phrase like “balls of prayer.” I am slightly abnormal. I read about Caleb’s daughter getting off her ass before she asked for a piece of ground and my first thoughts are – “…ummm…welfare …get off your ass before you ask…” Oh, well, it’s not like I’m ever going to actually say that in church but it’s way cool to know if there was a church full of Kevin Mills I could get by with it. Bless you, man, and keep blogging.
